Book club meets Nov. 25
Nov. 25 is the date of the next Friends of the Cheney Library Book Club meeting. Sue Grover will lead the discussion of the book, “The Secret Garden,” by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

ML Kiwanis bingo Nov. 22
The Medical Lake Kiwanis is hosting a bingo night on Friday, Nov. 22 between 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Hallett Elementary School, 524 S. Hallett St. The event is open to all.
There will be a special kids bingo game with prizes. Adults can expect to win cash prizes and turkeys.
Pizza Factory pizza will be available for purchase, along with free coffee and cookies.

FBLA holding coat drive
The Cheney High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) are holding a coat drive. New and good condition used coats may be dropped off at collection boxes at the following in Airway Heights: Cal’s Auto Sales, Grocery Outlet, Longhorn BBQ, Windsor Crossing, Zips, Yoke’s Fresh Markets, International Beauty Education Center and Village Cinema Movie Theater. In Cheney, boxes are at Zips, Mitchell’s Harvest Foods, El Rodeo Restaurant and Safeway.
Coats may be dropped off until Nov. 27.
