CHENEY – It may not have been the 2A playoffs, but the Blackhawks football team found a way to get a little post-season action — and their sixth win in the process.
After falling behind 7-0 early to visiting East Valley (Yakima), Cheney rattled off 40 unanswered points en route to a 40-7 pasting of the Red Devils in a crossover game between the Great Northern League and the Central Washington Athletic Conference on Nov. 8 at Tom Oswald Field.
