Air Stagnation Advisory issued

CHENEY – The National Weather Service has issued an Air Stagnation Advisory for most of Eastern Washington and North Idaho.

The advisory is in effect until noon Friday, the weather service said.

Clear skies and expected low air movement means air quality may decline, the advisory said.

The service is recommending residents refrain from outdoor burning and using wood-burning stoves or fireplaces.
