The 12th annual Turkey Trot is taking place Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28. The 2-3 mile run/walk kicks off at 9 a.m. at Cheney High School and is open to walkers and runners of all ages, with dressing in costumes encouraged. Dogs are allowed too!
The race only entry fee is $5. If registering by Nov. 11, please add $20 if you want a long-sleeved T-shirt.
Entry forms are available by emailing Camille Moseley at moseleyc@live.com. Entrants receive a ticket for a drawing to win prizes, including a turkey.
Portion of the proceeds are donated to the Cheney Food Bank....
