Stanley Ferriolo, 55, was arrested on the 1800 block of 2nd Street for second-degree burglary. Cash was stolen.
A 15-year-old male was arrested on the 2700 block of 1st Street for third-degree theft/shoplifting. Liquor was stolen on Oct. 2.
Suspicious circumstance/juvenile problem was reported in Cheney.
A backpack was found on the 100 block of Huron Street.
A mental health issue was reported on the 500 block of Short Street.
Oct. 8
Christopher J. Millward, 20, was arrested on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
Oct. 9
A mental health issue was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
Kylee A. Harman, 23, was arrested on the 300 block of Erie Street for driving under the influence (DUI).
Third-degree theft/shoplifting was reported on the 100 block of West 1st Street. An attempt to steal bottled water was reported.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 100 block of 4th Street.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 100 block of College Hill Street.
Coby L. Johnson, 21, was arrested on the 1000 block of Betz Road for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.
Oct. 10
A 17-year-old male was arrested on the 1700 block of 5th Street for reckless driving.
A welfare check was conducted on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
A firearm was turned in to the police department as per a court order.
Oct. 11
Benjamin R. Adams, 19, was arrested on the 1700 block of 2nd Street for possession of a controlled substance/marijuana under 21 years old.
A juvenile problem was reported on the 700 block of Betz Road.
Elisa M. Lasso, 28, was arrested on the 100 block of West 1st Street for possession of a controlled substance/heroin.
Possible child abuse/neglect was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane. Incident was referred to Child Protective Services.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 1400 block of 4th Street. Tools and cameras were taken.
Police assisted the Washington State Patrol with a DUI arrest on the 2300 block of 1st Street.
Oct. 12
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 800 block of West 1st Street.
Christopher S. Lancaster, 31, was arrested on the 2400 block of North 6th Street for third-degree DWLS.
Susan L. Ford, 53, was arrested on the 300 block of 2nd Street for DUI.
Oct. 13
Taking motor vehicle without owner’s permission was reported on the 1100 block of 1st Street. A black 1995 Isuzu Rodeo was taken.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 900 block of 1st Street. A window was shattered.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of G Street. Patio furniture was stolen.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 1500 block of 3rd Street. Cell phone, debit card and a Washington assisted driver’s license were taken, but later recovered.
A vacuum and drill were found somewhere in Cheney and turned in to the police department.

A sex crime was reported on the 800 block of Maple Street. Inappropriate touching was alleged.
