CHENEY – The Lady Blackhawks soccer team ran their winning streak to a season-high four games with three shutouts this past week, keeping them one game ahead of second-place West Valley in the race for the Great Northern League regular season title.
Cheney edged East Valley 1-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 1, with Mackenzie Houtari’s goal in the 38th minute off an assist from Makenna Benson the game’s only score. The Lady Blackhawks outshot the Knights 14-4, with goalkeeper Sydney Reagan making five saves.
