CHENEY — Spokane County Fire District 3 is now offering free car seat checks to help parents ensure they are installing and placing children in car seats correctly.
Benefits include ensuring the proper installation of the car seat and the safety of the child in it, making sure the child is in tight, but not too tight, which direction the seat should be installed and to check that the car seat fits the child correctly.
Although people are invited to stop by the district headquarters anytime, Flock recommended making an appointment to ensure someone is at that station and not out on an emergency...
