SPOKANE – Travelers using both directions of Interstate 90 between the U.S. 195 interchange and Argonne Road interchange are encouraged to plan additional time to help prevent delays.
Crews with the Washington State Department of Transportation will be closing the left lane of I-90 in both directions to vactor drains on I-90.
Upcoming left lane closures of I-90 from the US 195 interchange to Argonne Road:
-- 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct; 6 until 5:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7
-- 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7 until 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8
-- 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 until 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9
-- 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 until 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10
The first night of left lane closures will begin westbound I-90 from exit 286, Broadway Avenue, to exit 282A, Hamilton Street. The second night crews will vactor from exit 282A, Hamilton Street, west to exit 277, U.S. 2 interchange. Once westbound I-90 is complete, crews will work in two-mile increments eastbound on I-90 from the US 195 interchange to the Argonne Road interchange.
Vactoring drains on I-90 will remove possible debris and will keep water from becoming backed up in drains on the interstate.
