Cheney Congregational Church

You are invited to join us for our services at Cheney Congregational Church Sunday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. We have recently arranged a special place for young children to have a play area in the back of our sanctuary. Parents can be part of the service while their children play in quiet activities right in front of them.

A children’s church for those generally age 4–10 has was added to our service. Participating children join this group following the opening parts of our service.

A coffee and refreshment hour for everyone will follow our services in the fellowship hall. Please join us and get acquainted.

Prior to church services on Sept 22, men’s breakfast group will meet at the Marketplace Bakery & Eatery, and women’s fellowship will meet for breakfast at Bene’s at 7:45 a.m. New people are welcome to join these groups.

Our monthly educational series held on the fourth Wednesday of the month has changed names. It is now called “Things I Learned Along the Way.” The church will hear Jim Miller’s presentation entitled “Practical Water Conservation,” on Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. We are in water-limited Eastern Washington. Miller will share ways to make best use of the precious water we do have. Cookies, coffee and conversation will be available following the presentation. This series is free and is open to the public.

Cheney Congregational regularly participates in Feed Cheney at the Wren Pierson Building. This month it will be Monday, Sept. 30 at 5:30 p.m.

Come join us for all of our activities. Everyone is welcome at Cheney Congregational Church. It would be our pleasure to get to know you.
