The Friends of Turnbull Wildlife Refuge are holding “Scenes and Songs for the Refuge,” on Saturday, Sept. 21 from noon–4 p.m. at Cheney’s Wren Pierson Community Center, 516 4th St. The event features bands, artists, photography, silent auction and food.

The Friends of Turnbull Wildlife Refuge is raising money to support the refuge’s far reaching K-12 environmental education program. Serving thousands of children in the area, the program actively engages students in learning about our beautiful refuge and how to care of our earth.

The music of the lively Plaid Cat combo is one of the featured groups that will keep folks tapping their toes. Stop by to enjoy some music while looking at art works and bidding on a spectacular colorful wrought iron patio table and chairs.
