The Moving Wall: reminder of Vietnam veterans sacrifices

Dennis Edwards of Four Lakes spent considerable time standing before one particular panel of The Moving Wall. "Those are my brothers in arms," he said. "I'm here for the guys we lost over there." Names are listed on the Wall by date of death during the Vietnam War.
There was no shortage of visitors to Medical Lake this weekend along the reflective black wall engraved with the names of 58,318 Americans who didn't make it home alive from the Vietnam War.
"Once the panels come out, this place becomes hallowed ground," Paul Chen, The Moving Wall caretaker, told volunteers gathered to help erect the traveling monument on Thursday morning after arriving via an escort of motorcycles and law enforcement.
Those volunteers spent much of Thursday morning carefully piecing together the Wall's panels prior to an opening ceremony the same evening that was attended...
