StageWest thanks the public for a successful season

Letter to the Editor

StageWest Community Theatre had great success with the last production of the 2018-2019 Session, “The Savannah Sipping Society” by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten. Most performances had a capacity crowd and the dinner theatre was a complete sell out.

StageWest would like to thank the congregation of  Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the minister, Arianna Arends, for the generous use of their building for all of our auditions, rehearsals and performances. Without this kind gift, StageWest would not have been able to put on this production. StageWest would also like to thank Michael Hartman for once again serving a delicious meal for our dinner theatre.

But most of all, StageWest would like to thank the members of the West Plains who continue to support our theatre group by buying ads in our programs, sponsoring a production or performance, attending a performance, buying raffle tickets and the list goes on. Without the community’s support StageWest would just be a bunch of people acting silly in public.

In the words of the great Actress Tullulah Bankhead “If you really want to help the American Theater, don’t be an actress, dahling. Be an audience”

Keep checking The Cheney Free Press for information of out 2019-2020 season starting this fall.
