Medical Lake’s track and field teams wrapped up Northeast A League season competition on a high note last week. The Cardinal boys and girls easily knocked off visiting Riverside, with the boys winning 75-62 and the girls topping the Rams 86-50.
Head coach Gene Blankenship said his team set 30 new personal records in the competition, 15 each for the boys and girls.
“I was extremely pleased with the kids performances,” Blankenship said in an email. “We actually had three kids break into the top-10 list.”
