CHENEY

April 29

Second-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of Oak Street. Tools, vehicle parts and stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle.

A Washington driver’s license was found on the 100 block of G Street.

Second-degree burglary was reported on the 1400 block of 1st Street. Four storage units were broken into, but it is unknown at press time if anything was taken.

A 53-year-old female was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and hit and run property damage collision on the 400 block of 1st Street.

Fourth-degree assault/domestic violence was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.

April 30

A 20-year-old female was arrested for obstructing a law enforcement officer during a domestic violence incident on the 200 block of North 11th Street.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of College Hill Street. Cab fare was taken.

Second-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of North 5th Street. A barbecue/smoker was taken.

A mountain bike was found on the 100 block of Anderson Road.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 400 block of North 6th Street. Cash was taken.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 300 block of College Avenue.

Fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.

May 1

An 18-year-old male was arrested for second-degree assault/domestic violence and unlawful possession of a firearm on the 700 block of 5th Street.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2500 block of North 6th Street.

Third-degree theft was reported taking place at an unknown location in Cheney. Cash was taken.

A 55-year-old male was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 300 block of Erie Street.

May 3

A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 700 block of Betz Road.

A 38-year-old male was arrested on the 2200 block of Annie Place on two Spokane warrants for failure to appear for first-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) charges.

A 38-year-old male was arrested on the 1200 block of West 1st Street for first-degree DWLS.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

May 4

A 29-year-old male was arrested for DUI on the 600 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.

A 21-year-old male was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

A 17-year-old female was reported missing from the 500 block of Irene Place. The female was later located on May 5 in Spokane.

May 5

Three counterfeit $5 bills were reported used on the 900 block of 1st Street.

Three counterfeit $10 bills were reported used on the 1100 block of 1st Street.

A camera was found on the Columbia Plateau Trail.

Mental health issues were reported on the 700 block of West 5th Street. The subject was involuntarily committed.
