StageWest opens season with 'Savannah Sipping Society'

StageWest Community Theatre proudly presents “The Savannah Sipping Society,” written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten and directed by Kay Bryon Pacheco.

This is a delightful, laugh-a-minute comedy about four unique Southern women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, who are brought together by fate and an impromptu happy hour and decide that it is high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they have lost through the years.

Performances at are at 639 Elm St., Cheney, in lower level of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Performances take place on Friday April 26, May 3 and 10 and Saturday April 27 and May 4, all at 7 p.m. Sunday matinees are April 28 and May 5 at 3 p.m.

A dinner theatre performance takes place Saturday May 11, at 6 p.m. Dinner is catered by Mike Hartman. Dinner is by reservation only and must be made and paid for by Friday May 10.

Tickets for regular performances are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors age 60 and over and $5 for students with valid school identification card. The dinner theatre is $30 per person.
