Leonard was born to Wesley Aaron Ralph and Beatrice Louise Ralph (Lozar).

Leonard graduated from Cheney High School in 1964, and from there went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army.

Following his time in the service, Leonard worked for Leo’s photography studio where he shot school, graduation and numerous wedding photos.
