The Cheney High School softball team dropped a pair of non-league games last week to some pretty good opponents.
The Lady Blackhawks traveled to the Tri-Cities to face 3A Kamiakin High School on March 26, falling 13-6 to the Braves. Cheney boarded the bus three days later on March 29 bound for Ephrata where they lost 11-1 to a young but talented Tigers team.
