Westwood movie night benefits homelessness

 


The Westwood Middle School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) held a movie night on Feb. 21 to support the Salvation Army in their battle against homelessness in Spokane. This was a part of their Community Service Project for the FBLA state competition.

The showing of the movie “Monster’s Inc.” helped raise over $100 and three large boxes of donations including items like gloves, socks, hats and toiletries. On the March 15 of March, the president of the chapter delivered the donations to the Salvation Army. The donations were split between the organization’s family...
