Cheney drops home contest to East Valley, outlasts Pullman on the road
Cheney High School’s girls basketball team earned a split in its Great Northern League action last week.
The Lady Blackhawks stayed close early on with visiting East Valley before falling 66-51 to the state’s top-ranked 2A team last Tuesday, Jan. 29. Cheney then found its way back into the win column, finding some late offense to hold off an upset bid by Pullman Feb. 1, winning 54-43.
