Cheney's Parks and Recreation Department hosted a sold-out "Daddy Daughter Dance" at the Cheney City Hall auditorium.
The cost for the minimum level of full-time EMS services in Medical Lake proved to cost a pretty penny - about $378,900, almost double what the city had been paying for volunteers.
