Cheney Congregational Church
We would like to invite everyone to join our Sunday morning worship service at 10 a.m. On Sunday, Feb. 10, pastor David Krueger-Duncan’s sermon will be “Titanic Mistakes: Are We Living Lives of Personal Integrity?” Coffee and refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.
Everyone is welcome to join our fantastic choir. Kate Francis, our choir director, holds choir practice Sundays at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary. If you have any questions, Kate can be reached at (509) 481-5234.
Donations to the “Souper Bowl of Caring” will be collected again during worship this Sunday. One-hundred percent of the donations will be given to Feed Cheney to assist with their monthly dinner and grocery distribution. Feed Cheney provides a free hot meal and grocery distribution for the community each month. Volunteers can sign up to help with the monthly meal at http://www.feedcheney.com.
On Sunday, Feb. 10, the men’s breakfast group will meet at The Marketplace Bakery & Eatery at 7:45 a.m.
The “Lunch Bunch” will meet in the fellowship hall at noon on Feb. 14. Everyone is welcome to join the group and share good food and conversation.
Our next “Things I Learned Somewhere” educational series will be Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. Dr. Dick Donley will give a presentation on Abraham Lincoln in the church sanctuary. Everyone is invited to attend this free series.
Emmanuel Lutheran Church
All are welcome to worship with us this Sunday, Feb. 10, at 10:30 a.m. Fellowship follows the worship service.
Adult education meets before service at 9 a.m. Please note there is no children’s Sunday school this Sunday.
Mark your calendar for Emmanuel’s 10th annual “Festival of Chocolate” benefit for Lutherhaven’s Day Camp (Vacation Bible School) fundraiser. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 6, from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. We invite the whole community to participate in our festival. To help offset the cost of the Day Camp, a container will be provided for good will offerings. We look forward to seeing you there!
All are welcome to visit Emmanuel’s Little Free Library and Free Community Pantry located at 639 Elm St. Donations of books, non-perishable food, and personal care items for all ages are always accepted. Both are open to the community 24/7.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m. We look forward to the annual visit of our Bishop, Rev. Gretchen Rehberg, who will preach and preside, then join us for a potluck meal following the service. Come meet and hear her and join in our celebration.

Choir practice continues under the direction of Alexandra Rannow. We practice every Tuesday at 6 p.m. Come sing with us.
Fellowship breakfast is each Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. All are welcome.
Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday morning at ll:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

United Methodist Church
The United Methodist Church invites you to worship with us this Sunday. This week pastor Alissa Bertsch will begin a new sermon series entitled “See All the People.” Preceding worship there is a multi-age Sunday school class for elementary and middle school aged students.
Sunday evening all are invited back to the church for a “Sweetheart Hoedown.” The evening will begin with a potluck at 6 p.m. followed by some good old fashioned square dancing. All are welcome at this fellowship event.

Westside Chapel
This Sunday morning at Westside Chapel our very own resident missionary to South Sudan will share stories and pictures from his most recent trip.
Mel Wilkinson, retired homicide detective from Los Angeles, has made more than 16 trips to the southeastern border of South Sudan where he teaches classes to prospective pastors and military chaplains in the Sudanese Peoples’ Liberation Army. His presentation this Sunday will reveal some fascinating experiences that caught even Mel off guard.
Also, Sunday evening we’ll be hosting a music event benefit for “Young Life of the West Plains.” Featured performer is Darin Hilderbrand, a popular entertainer in the Spokane area.
Westside Chapel meets Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and is located on State Route 904 across From the Bi-Mart Arena. This Sunday’s evening event starts at 6 p.m.
