Replica of Vietnam Memorial arriving in June as part of Founder’s Days
This year’s Founder’s Day in Medical Lake will include a special guest and additional ceremonies.
The group Re*Imagine Medical Lake is sponsoring The Moving Wall, a mobile, scale replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall located in Washington D.C., to the city in mid-June.
The event will overlap the annual Founder’s Day festivities, according to Gerri Johnson, president of Re*Imagine Medical Lake and Founder’s Day director.
“We’re a military-rich region,” Johnson said.
The Moving Wall will be located at 250 S. Prentis St. on the Medical Lake Middle School playfield between June 12-16.
