Guy S. Heltsley, 30, was arrested on the 200 block of North 11th Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and a Whitman County warrant for felony motor vehicle theft.
A wallet was found on the 1700 block of Fourth Street.
Dec. 18
A vaping device was recovered/confiscated on the 400 block of Annie Place.
Jessica R. Edgar, 37, was arrested on the 2200 block of First Street for violation of a court no contact order.
Dec. 19
Kendrick M. Mellinger, 26, was arrested on the 300 block of B Street for violation of a court no contact order.
A 14-year-old male was arrested at Cheney Middle School for fourth-degree assault.
A bicycle was found on the 200 block of L Street.
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 100 block of College Avenue.
Indecent liberties were reported on the 1500 block of West First Street. Incident was work-related sexual harassment.
Dec. 20
Possible identification theft was reported on the 100 block of College Hill.
Suspicious emails were reported on the 300 block of Nolan Brown Place.
A key chain was found on the 100 block of West Sixth Street.
Dec. 22
A man was reported walking around a parking lot and harassing customers at a business in the 2300 block of First Street.
Second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 2800 block of Al Ogdon Way. Five cars were damaged.
Dec. 23
Travis M. Scotti, 25, was arrested at North Sixth and Ash streets for reckless driving.
Second-degree burglary was reported on the 100 block of East Betz Road. Art collectibles and a porcelain photo frame were taken and a car cover and car were damaged sometime between Nov. 23 and Dec. 23.
First-degree burglary was reported on the 100 block of East Betz Road. Weapons were stolen sometime between Dec. 9 and Dec. 23.
Inadvertent discharging of a weapon in city limits was reported on the zero hundred block of Fourth Street.
