Cardinals get whippin’ from rival Cheney
Medical Lake got four consecutive critical victories starting with a pin from Nate Stevens in the 160-pound class to earn a dual-meet wrestling win over Freeman to open Northeast A League competition last Thursday, Dec. 13 at Freeman.
Stevens’ pin, which took 3 minutes, 58 seconds, was followed by forfeit victories at 170 pounds from Brayden Petersen and Brent Keith at 182. Jaysen Bremmer ended the run with his pin in 1:32 at 195 pounds.
Other Cardinal victories came from pins by Aiden Carl (113) in 1:21, Jon Anderson (132) in 2:36 and Justin Warnick in just 35 seconds.
