Cheney slid into third with 105.975 points, beating North Central (96.200) and Rogers (66.150) by a significant margin but coming in well under second place Central Valley and first place Mead. Central Valley and Mead topped the competition with 143.725 points and 156.225 points respectively.

Senior Makayla Miller continued to make waves in multiple events, taking fifth place on bars with a 7.050, 11th on beam with a 7.400 and sixth all around with a 28.375.

“She’s great, between her scores, grades and stepping up as a great team leader,” head coach Jamie Frucci said.

Junior Faith Shinner took sixth place on beam with a 7.600 and ninth on bars with a 6.450, while senior Alexis Ewen snapped up the 11th place spot in all around competition with a 22.450.
