Biblical take on immigration has consequences

Several weeks ago, in this paper, those who support the policies of out federal government were blasted by Mr. Tom Hastings. Last week Nancy Street decided to take her shot at them. I’d like to reply to Ms. Street:
1) Do not presume that because I don’t support allowing any and everyone to illegally immigrate to the United States that I do not take care of those less fortunate then myself. There are any number of agencies that allow me to do that. You can do the same. Why are open borders the only solution that you can think of to resolve the situation?
2) Since you’ve paraphrased Christian scriptures and state that it is the solution you should remember the United States is not a theocracy.
3) However, if you’d like to explore that possibility of turning our federal government into a theocracy, please evaluate these questions. Are you in agreement with the biblical teaching of sexuality, God’s sovereignty over all things including life and death and biblical roles of men and women? Or did you cherry pick one item from the Bible that you happened to agree with to create an argument?
4) Please evaluate some of these scriptures and how they impact your position. Anybody can take one passage of scripture and make an argument. However, that is dishonest, simplistic and can be very dangerous. Please review: Romans 13:1-14, 1 Timothy 5:8, Mark 12:17.
And if your argument is that our government is so corrupt or immoral that you don’t need to listen to it you should be reminded that during the time of Christ, the people of Israel were governed by a savage government that killed children and abused its subjects. And Christ honored that government.
