StageWest Community Theatre presents the Lux Radio Theater Production of “It’s A Wonderful Life,” directed by Chris Booth. The play is based on the classic holiday movie but staged as a live radio broadcast.

Actors portray numerous characters and perform live sound effects.

“It’s A Wonderful Life” is about the life of George Bailey, a generous and well-meaning man who has become too downcast and tired to continue living. It will take help from Clarence, a loveable angel, to show George what life would be like if he wasn’t born and to understand the true spirit of the holidays.

This is a favorite winter tale full of warmth and holiday cheer.

StageWest performances of “It’s a Wonderful Life” take place Dec 7-16, with Friday and Saturday shows at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. A special dinner theatre production, catered by Mike Hartman, takes place Dec.15. Reservations are required.

Ticket prices are adults $12, seniors $10, students $5 and groups of 10 or more $2 off. Dinner theater tickets are $30.

For dinner reservations, call StageWest at (509) 309-9929. VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.

All performances take place at Cheney’s Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 639 Elm St.
