Eastern men open home basketball schedule with 2K Empire Classic
Eastern Washington will host Wisconsin-Green Bay on Friday, Nov. 16 and either the University of Missouri-Kansas City or Morehead State the following day as part of a sub-regional of the 2K Empire Classic benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project.
Play begins at Reese Court Friday at 2:35 p.m. when 0-3 UMKC takes on 1-2 Morehead State, followed by the game between 1-2 Green Bay and 0-2 Eastern at approximately 4:45 p.m.
Eastern comes off losses on the road to two nationally-ranked teams, 66-34 at Syracuse on Nov. 6 and Oregon, 81-47 Nov. 6 in Eugene.
The Eastern women come off a 63-51 loss on Nov. 11 at home to Gonzaga and played Eastern Oregon Nov. 14 prior to a road trip to Brigham Young this Saturday, Nov. 17. The Eagles will be back at home at Reese Court on Nov. 21 when they host Pac-12 foe Utah at 4:05 p.m.
