Eastern Washington tries to stay perfect against Northern Colorado

Eastern players were all raring to go last Saturday prior to their game with Idaho.

Eastern Washington puts its perfect record of nine consecutive football wins in Big Sky Conference play against Northern Colorado on the line in Greeley this Saturday.

The Eagles have yet to lose to the Bears since UNC joined the league in 2006.

They will do that with a lock-tight defense that is as stingy as any in EWU football history, and an offense that appears to be blooming again under the guidance of quarterback Eric Barriere when the Eagles venture onto Nottingham Field and the only natural grass field in the conference.
