Harold L. "Hal" Hartley, 86, passed away Oct. 3, 2018 in Spokane Valley. He was born on April 22, 1932 in Cheney to Lester Hartley and Iva Colyar.
As a youth, Harold lived with his family in Chelan, Chehalis, a brief stay in California, then returned to Cheney where he graduated high school and attended Eastern. It was there that he met the love of his life, Joretta Holt. They married April 26, 1952.
Harold was on active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1960 in Pennsylvania. The family returned to Cheney and eventually settled at Williams Lake in 1963. Harold joined the Washington Air National...
