Medical Lake drops pair of matches
Medical Lake had a winless week on the volleyball court losing a pair of 3-0 matches to league-leading Lakeside (9-0 NEA, 9-0 overall) and Freeman (8-1, 8-1) the current second-place team in the Northeast A League.
In an Oct. 2 contest at home no set scores were reported, but the Cardinals got double-digit assists from Megan Goertz with 15. Tori John had six kills and Hailey Sanders six digs for Medical Lake (1-7 NEA, 1-8 overall).
Freeman scored three easy wins, 25-7, 25-10, 25-7 with Goertz standing out with eight assists to lead ML. Courtney Day...
