Tests waters of league play at Freeman Tournament

Nothing like testing one’s self right at the start.

That’s what the Medical Lake volleyball team did last week as they jumped into the deep end of the Northeast A League pool and faced perennial power Lakeside in Suncrest, losing in straight sets 25-8, 25-8, 25-12.

“For our first league meeting we played one of the toughest teams in the league,” head coach Todd Harr wrote in an email. “The team played solid despite what the scores may dictate, we were out-sized and our offense had trouble getting going.”
