CHENEY
Sept. 3
Officer-involved shooting was reported on the 100 block of West First Street.
Sept. 4
A student was reported vaping on the Cheney High School campus grounds prior to the start of school.
A cellphone was found on the zero hundred block of West First Street.
A possible harassment or dispute between an employer and employee was reported on the 1600 block of West First Street.
A wallet was found on the 700 block of South Mullinix Road.
A mental health issue was reported on the 300 block of North Eleventh Street. Subject was voluntarily committed.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1600 block of Third Street.
Sept. 5
A stolen vehicle was recovered on the 700 block of Chestnut Street. Vehicle was stolen out of Spokane.
Extortion was reported on the 1300 block of Third Street.
A 15-year-old female was arrested at Cheney High School for fourth-degree assault.
Sept. 6
First-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 3000 block of Harvest Bluff Road. Damage was done to construction equipment.
Tyler J. Howells, 26, was arrested on the 100 block of West First Street for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 300 block of L Street. The resident reported that a ladder previously lying on the ground was now propped up against the side of the house.
Sept. 7
Residential burglary was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. Nothing was taken, however property inside had been rearranged.
A bicycle was found on the 300 block of Plum Tree Court.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 2200 block of North Sixth Street. Damage was done to a Cheney Care Center transport bus, and gasoline was taken.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2700 block of First Street.
Sept. 8
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 700 block of First Street.
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 400 block of First Street.
Sept. 9
Brittany K. Everett, 28, was arrested on the 700 block of West First Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Sept. 10
Second-degree burglary was reported on the 700 block of West First Street. Nothing was taken, however a window was broken.
A student at Cheney High School reported a possible abuse situation that was taking place in Spokane County.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on the 600 block of East State Route 902.
An animal complaint was received on the 100 block of West San Salvador Street.
