Sept. 25, 2008

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office began charging Medical Lake, Airway Heights and Liberty Lake for police dispatch services.

Cheney High School started a student advocacy program that connected students with specific teachers to act as their mentors.

Playgrounds at several Cheney parks received new playground equipment.

Sept. 24, 1998

A horse ranch raising famous Lippazan stallions made its home in Cheney.

Eastern Washington University held a rededication of its John F. Kennedy Library following an extensive expansion and renovation.
