In a recent interview with Tennis magazine, the president of the French Tennis Federation Bernard Giudicelli moved away from mere athletics and instead discussed a matter of fashion, stating that a new dress code will be implemented in the French Open because “sometimes we’ve gone too far.”

Specifically addressing the attire of female competitor and world-renowned athlete Serena Williams, who wore a catsuit designed to prevent blood clots, Giudicelli said “The combination of Serena this year, for example, it will no longer be accepted. One must respect the game and the place.”
