Gone Fishing

The water level at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge's Middle Pine Lake is low and is subsequently proving attractive to a pair of blue herons. The birds are perching in trees and wading into the shallow water stalking fish.

Blue herons are one of over 200 species of animals that can be found at Turnbull.
