New owner renames venerable building in honor of her mother
Jessica Glenn took a dumpster full of junk out of the former Wagon Wheel Bar and Grill in her effort to turn it into a community gathering place of a different kind.
A pioneer old Medical Lake building is blazing a new trail with the sale in June to new owner, Jessica Glenn.
Gone will be the iconic Wagon Wheel Bar that has been part of the community on the corner of Lake and Lefevre streets off and on for over a century.
In its place is a fully renovated and much-needed apartment space, a potential new community gathering place, as well as office space in the building whose sign proclaims it was established in 1900.
