Cheney Congregational Church

Cheney Congregational Church is made up of a diverse group of people representing different ages, interests and beliefs. We all believe in Jesus and worship God. We all agree that it is OK to be different. We celebrate the variety of people that God has created.

Some of our activities include: “Lunch Bunch” at noon at CCC on July 12, lunch at noon at Crosswalk on July 26, Feed Cheney at 5:30 p.m. at Veteran’s Park in Cheney on July 30.

Every Sunday at 10 a.m. we meet at the church on 423 N. Sixth St. in Cheney. We are all in different places in our faith journey and warmly welcome visitors.

Our building is accessible and our people are warm and friendly. After the service, there is a hospitality hour with food and friendship. Come and join us.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us this Sunday, July 15, at 10:30 a.m. Coffee hour follows the worship service. Christian education for grade school through adults is in recess until Sept.

You may watch our pastor’s sermons on YouTube at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Cheney.

Vacation Bible Day Camp will be held Monday, July 16, through Friday, July 20. We will begin the week with a welcome barbecue for our camp counselors on Sunday, July 15, at 6 p.m.

“Speak Life” is the theme for this year’s program. The Lutheran staff will lead the children through a week of learning, games, crafts, and activities. This year’s camp is for children entering first through sixth-grade this fall, and runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Please plan to bring a daily sack lunch.

During the month of July we are collecting school supplies for Cheney Outreach. Aug. 12–16 we will be hosting Vacation Bible School at the church. There are many ways to be involved in this high energy annual event.
