On June 18, 2018, Robert “Robbie” Cook, a 2013 graduate of Cheney High School and 2016 graduate of Washington State University, was awarded a master of business administration degree from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California in Irvine.
While completing his final MBA courses, Cook was interviewed and hired as a financial analyst at Edwards Lifesciences Corporation, a major Orange County firm that manufactures artificial heart valves.
Cook is the son of Kathy Brainard of Cheney and Chris Cook of Spokane.
