As he wrote in the June 14 edition of Crunch Time, reported Paul Delaney was on hand 40 years ago to take in the first-ever stock car race at Spokane Raceway Park. Some of those photos from decades ago are seen here. Old time race fans might recognize 01, Don Dowdy, No. 6 Steve Mason and No. 7 Ron Eaton in the front stretch photo. Garrett Evans (64) leads the three car group. And Ron Hall (28) is the car that spun out. The 07 car...not sure?
