Seniors Aaron Fillmore and Dixon Gerber represented Cheney High School’s boys tennis team last weekend at the 2A State Tournament in Seattle. The duo was the only Great Northern League competitors in the bracket.
The first match was against Blake Wilker and Thomas Hughes from Sequim. Fillmore and Gerber came out firing in the first set, winning 7-5. The Sequim duo took the next two sets 6-1 and 7-5 for the match win.
