Noodle Express is opening its 11th location in the West Plains. It is set to open by the end of May.

Noodles anyone?

Local business Noodle Express is opening a new location in Airway Heights at the Cross Pointe Plaza shopping area by Wal-Mart. This will be the local restaurant's 11th location and it is set to open at the end of May.

"Our niche is for people who want options for each family member while still keeping on a budget and don't want fast food," Chris Siemens, vice president of Noodle Express said.

The restaurant will be equipped with a dine-in area, a drive-through and patio seating when the weather is warm enough.

Some of their most popular items feature "Pan-Asian" dishes with flavors from Japan, China, Thailand and Hawaii. The dishes offered are available in multiple options including noodles, rice, vegetables and different sauces including their signature Osaka Sauce, which is a ginger-flavored garnish.

The company has also recently added Tilapia and Edamame to most of their locations. Their flavors range from a variety of options including, the teriyaki sauce, Singapore butter, sweet and sour sauce, sweet Thai glaze and their own special Osaka dishes and ginger dressing.

The company originally started in Missoula in 1992 at the Southgate Mall. The organization is a branch of the Mustard Seed restaurant and offers some of their dishes in a more relaxed setting.

Even though this is the first location on the West Plains, there are Noodle Expresses scattered around the Pacific Northwest. Their other restaurants are located on North Division, Spokane Valley, Hayden, Idaho and places in Montana including Missoula and Great Falls.

The new location is also holding open interviews today, May 24. The interviews are held at 10408 U.S. Highway 2 at Suite 1. The interviews will be held from 3 – 6 p.m. The current positions available are cashiers, line and prep cooks, dishwashers and shift leaders. The hourly wage starts at $11.50 depending on experience and position. There are also benefits that include tips, discounted meals and for qualified positions, medical and dental benefits.
