The Cheney High School equestrian team finished their third meet in Moses Lake earlier in April and will send riders to state competition in Moses Lake at the Grant County Fairgrounds May 17 - 20.
State qualifiers include: Maddie Merriott won gold in barrels; Rachelle Dean won gold in dressage, hunt seat equitation, and hunt seat over fences; Morgan Barton won bronze in pole bending; Maddie Merriott and Destiny Otoupalik won bronze in team sorting.
