Cardinals' soccer rolls out offense with big wins

The Cheney High School boys soccer team was unable to come out with a win last week in Great Northern League competition against East Valley and Pullman on the road.

“It’s a tough week anytime you have to travel for two away games,” head coach Rene Caro said in an email. “They’re not the desired results that we want but, in the grand scheme of things, we will continue to build off the positives and continue to move forward.

The first game was against the Knights on March 27, where the Blackhawks fell 1-0. Deiby Bernandez scored for EV in the second half...
