Cheney High School’s baseball squad dropped two games last week, including their Great Northern League opener at Clarkston.
Tuesday, the Blackhawks fell 5-2 in a non-league contest at Central Washington Athletic Conference Ephrata. After falling behind 1-0 in the first inning, Cheney tied the score in the fourth on Devin Cook’s leadoff double followed by Luke Martin’s two-out flair single that scored Cook.
