Eastern track wins

at Whitworth

The Eastern Washington University track and field team started the season at the Buc Scoring Meet in Spokane, March 17.

In team scoring, both the men and women swept over Gonzaga, Lewis-Clark State, Spokane CC, Washington State and Whitworth.

Medical Lake’s Lexi Rolan took home two titles, the first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.22 seconds. She also won the long jump with a mark of 18 feet, 6.5 inches.

Kari Hamilton won the 5,000 meters in 17 minutes, 9.21 seconds. Kaitlin Gibb won the 100-meter hurdles in 14.83. The 4x100 relay team of Rolan, So...
