Medical Lake’s tennis teams traveled to Ritzville last Saturday for nonleague contests against a group of B schools, splitting 10 matches.
“Noah Ray and Heather Barr looked good in their first competitions both hitting solid ground strokes,” co-head coach Todd Harr wrote in an email. Nicole Ehr had a close match and looked much improved from last season.
One of the Cardinals’ top boys doubles teams of Ethan Brown and Caleb Snow got a solid win and played well together. “New players Ethan Davis and Ashton Hamilton-Becker looked solid and are a very athletic duo on the court,” Harr added.
