Cheney resident Lori Wyborney, principal at Rogers High School in Spokane, was chosen as the 2018 Principal on Parade for the 40th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Spokane. Cheney residents have been featured in prominent roles the past several years in the parade with Eastern Washington University President, Dr. Mary Cullinan and EWU athlete Cooper Kupp chosen as grand marshals in 2017 and 2016 respectively....
