Autumn Leaf Apartments offer extended stay in Airway Heights

A new type of living has arrived in Airway Heights and it is called the Autumn Leaf Apartments.

Located at 12911 West 13th Ave., the complex offers an "extended stay" option for residents or visitors on the West Plains. The apartment rooms are fully furnished with all the furniture one would need. It also has every utensil that is included in an average kitchen.

Wireless internet and cable are included in the rooms along with a washer and dryer. The rooms also offer mailboxes and cleaning services to their residents.

"We encourage people to stay at least two nights here," manager Branden Homan said. "We have a lot of people that come here that are in the middle of buying a house. Construction workers and traveling nurses are also other examples of who stay."

But the Autumn Leaf Apartments accept anyone to stay and for as long as they would like.

"We don't reject anybody," Homan added.

Spokane Corporate Housing, the builders of the complex, has other spots in the Spokane area that also offer the same options in North Spokane and downtown. Airway Heights is their brand new complex that includes 23 pet-friendly units.

One of the most unique parts about the set-up is that they offer "self check-in." With this feature, somebody who is staying at the location will receive a text with their room number and a code to get in on the keypad. This is a way that people can go to their room without having to visit the office or talk to anybody.

"I think that is one of the best parts about this place," Homan said. "We have been working really hard with setting it up the right way for everyone."

Even though the prices weren't set in stone just yet and are seasonal, they are very close to what people would pay at the surrounding hotels.

"We are more comfortable than a hotel and we have very competitive prices," Homan said. "We encourage people to come and apply."

The official grand opening is set for Friday, March 16 even though they have had guests stay in the complex already.
