At the Feb. 20 Airway Heights City Council meeting, Sandra Reiber was given the service award as she has served on the Housing and Community Development Citizen Advisory Committee.
“You have provided many years of great service to Airway Heights,” City Manager Albert Tripp said to Reiber.
The council also officially approved of sponsorship at the Kalispel Tribe’s Salish Conference for a donation of $5,000. The conference is designed to celebrate culture and the language of the Kalispel.
“This is a good opportunity for us,” Mayor Kevin Richey said.
